2010 Barbecue in the Bluffs in Bayliss Park and Taste of Council Bluffs!

Friday May 7th and Saturday May 8th

Celebrate CB is excited to announce the Fifth annual Barbecue in the Bluffs. Contestants will prepare chicken, pork ribs and/or brisket and will be judged by Kansas City Barbecue Society approved judges. Contestants can enter as individuals or teams and can be beginners or experts.

Watch Barbecue in the Bluffs Unfold! Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 (set up begins at 10 am on Friday)

The contest will be held in Bayliss Park. Join us on Friday night for great food, drinks and live music while the barbecue contestants start working their magic for Saturday's judging.

Great Cash Prizes for the Winners!

Grand Champion - $1,500
Reserve Grand Champion - $750
First through seventh place will be awarded with additional cash prizes!

Peoples Choice Award - Friday Night

9 contestants will be preparing chicken wings. For $5 per person - the public can taste the wings and vote for their favorite.

Taste of Council Bluffs!

This two day food festival is located in the wonderful Bayliss Park and is free and open to the public. Starts at 11 am on Friday. The festival will feature the great foods available in the Council Bluffs area. Enjoy comfort foods, ethnic foods, BBQ and of course desserts!
